Hand it over
Sunday, 7th August 2016
When I caught up with my gorgeous girlfriend Rosie Fortescue I practically made her hand over all the fabulous pieces of jewellery that adorned her tiny hands, arms ,fingers and wrists.
Rosie has started a jewellery line and it’s pretty major . Not only is she sweet and beautiful but her designs are killer . They are all super wearable yet also act as statement pieces . I have the hand cuff which is my personal fave , as worn by Rosie above which people are constantly asking to try . It retails for 145 GBP http://rosiefortescuejewellery.com/
Rosie answered a few questions for me on what inspires her and shares some good advice
MM :What inspires you when creating a new collection ?
RF: When creating a new collection I can get inspired by anything from angles in architecture to the colour of a flower for a stone colour. Literally anything so I constantly have my eyes peeled in London and on my travels.
MM:Who would you most like to see wear your Jewellery ?
RF:I want my jewellery to be loved by jewellery lovers. By people that are a magpie as much as I am and that truly believe no outfit is complete without jewellery!
MM:What’s songs on your playlist motivate you to create when your designing a collection ?
RF:I listen to all sorts of music depending on my mood but actually tend to work in silence with no social media or technology around when I’m designing as it’s so easy to get distracted.
MM:What was the first piece of Jewellery you ever bought or were given ?
RF:I don’t remember the first ever piece but I do remember always raiding my mothers jewellery box when I was younger. Conveniently we have the same size small hands so I always used to convince her to let me try on her engagement ring which I was obsessed with.
MM:Best piece of advice you can share ?
RF:Work hard for what you want and don’t give up. If you want to achieve something and put your mind to it, anything is possible!
